We are back!
Festival Indonesia was founded in 2005, as a collaboration project between Festival Indonesia Inc and the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Victoria and Tasmania.
The main purpose of the festival is to promote Indonesian Investment, Trade and Tourism (ITT) with various programs in business conferences, cultural performances, tourism, culinary art and bilateral trade opportunities between Indonesia and Australia.
For 8 years, Festival Indonesia has reached thousand number of people in many areas and has tightened the relationship between Australia and Indonesia in ITT.
Last festival was held in 2012 before we went on hiatus, but this year following the two long years of pandemic and what it has done to the whole world, we realise it is time for Festival Indonesia to be back!

Indonesian Night
30 September 2022
Celebrating the natural beauty of the Indonesian archipelago through stage performance, featuring Indonesian cultural performances and fashion shows in a theatrical show.
The story features an Australian tourist visiting Indonesia for the first time. He first landed in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, where he stopped over before his first destination.
His visit list comprises the 5 super priority destinations across the archipelago: Borobudur Temple in Central Java, Danau Toba in the middle of Sumatera Island, scenic Likupang Beach in Sulawesi, Mandalika and Labuan Bajo in Nusa Tenggara, as appointed by the Indonesian President.
He emerged himself in the natural beauty of the archipelago and the uniqueness of Indonesian traditional arts and culture. Before he headed back to Australia, he visited Kalimantan, the future capital city of Indonesia where the parliament house will be stationed in the coming years to replace the metropolitan city of Jakarta.
